My tickets are for May 16th, when are yours? I really can not wait. I'm debating going backstage to see John, I would love to but I don't want to be annoying. Do you think he would mind?

Looks like you'll be the first to see John in Drowsy Evie as my preview ticket is for the following week on the 24th.
Unless you know somebody who can get you a backstage pass, your best bet is to wait for John at the Stage Door after the show but, be warned, he sometimes leaves very promptly. Even if he is in a hurry to get somewhere, he always stops to sign a programme and pose for a quick photo. Have a great time!

Thanks, I will have a brilliant time! *smiles*
I probably will go see if I can catch him at the stage door (what a sweetie to still stop for people even if he is in a rush. I do not know John personally but he seems to have a beautiful and charming personality). I just hope I don't appear like a complete muppet, sometimes I can trip over words and I just end up babbling. I hate that!
Hope everyone is well around here,
All my love

Hello everyone. This may seem like an odd question but for anyone who has been to Pigalle: has John's voice changed? I know it sounds odd but I've heard that singers voices change as they get older and the last time I heard John sing was when he was 26 in Cats the movie. I was just wondering. I love his voice!!!

I haven't heard him at Pigalle, but I've seen him live a dozen times since the Cats movie & I wouldn't say it's changed since then, but I'd say it has matured.

Hi all. Just back from a week in Egypt - had a fantastic time.
I would say that John's musical theatre voice is different from his rock/jazz/swing style voice that I have heard recently at Pigalle. That said, whatever he sings, there is something unique and distinctive which always makes him immediately recognisable. I think that's the mark of a truly great singer.
