Sommernacht des Musicals

Does anybody know when and how I can find out about this year's event? I would really like to go and with the Football World cup in Germany this year I don't want to leave it late to book flights, accommodation etc. Thanks Debra xx

I found out today that it's on 3rd June and all seats are booked so standing room only. When I spoke to John he said that he had been invited but wasn't sure if he would be able to make it. He is due to stay with MS now until it closes on 24 June so I wonder if he will be at Sommernacht. Kido - could you ask him when you see him in Birmingham? I still haven't decided about Birmingham, but if I do go it will probably be towards the end of April and I'm worried that by then it will be too late to book for 3rd June. Bombi - if you know any more I'd be really grateful to hear. Thanks Debra xx

Will try and ask him as I'm off to Birmingham on Tuesday and I've usually found him more talkative during the week so I'll try but no guarantees but I'm sure you know that by now.

Hi All. Just to let you know Sommernacht was fab. John wasn't there but it was so worth the trip anyway as the performers were pretty amazing, especially Thomas Borchert and Peti Van der Velde. Kido will post her views too I'm sure as we travelled together and she also video taped the whole performance. Got to wait till the 24th now to see John and try to find out what his plans are after the Bristol closure of MS. Debra xx

Yes Sommernacht was fantastic. It was different without John but at least it gave me a chance to listen and look more closely at the other performers. If John had been there the only thing I would have been interested in was John. As Debra says I did video the whole thing so if anyone wants a copy please let me know and I would be happy to do one for you.
