For it's *only* one and a half year left untill I'm going to the states for a year.
Do you knoe any good organizations for that?
Maybe a adress (internet) of the one you used?
D'you know any nice places close to NYC? (100 or 200km away's fine!)

depends... do you want to go as an exchange student? if so, AFS (american field service) is the best! really... I went with them and they're like awesome. Other good organisations are yfu (but out of cash in the US so afs is doing the USA program), rotary (but you have to change host families twice). I think eurovacances is good, partnership international and a few others. The only organisation I'd rather not recommend is EF, they're supposedly somewhat, uh, bad.
with good most organisations you can't chose where in the US you're going and there are usually just very few placements near big cities, but, you can go lucky of course, anyway, before I keep on rambling for pages e-mail me ([email protected]) [img]smile.gif[/img]

*lol* it's okay, really. ex-exchange students have the tendency to talk about everything constantly so it's great that there are people that are actually interested...
