Just read this today that Drowsy is closing on August 4th. Not confirmed on the Drowsy site but thought I'd best share this with you in case it is true and any of you were planning to book later this year. Here is the link to the article

If true, this is terrible news. It's a great show that deserves to continue here in the West End and just needs time and publicity (in my humble opinion).

I was really hoping to get to see it, but I can't make it till August.. I'm just back from my holidays so I can't be heading off to London now.. [img]frown.gif[/img]

No! Please release soundtrack or something so we can all remember it if we can't see it. It's not fair. I really wanted to see it London but I have no way of getting there nor the money.

Just in case anyone is still unsure, it has been confirmed that The Drowsy Chaperone will close on August 4th. The reason given is poor ticket sales.
I am really sorry to see this show close and I'm sure that you will want to join me in sending my best wishes to John and his fellow cast members who must be devastated by this news.
