I'm not sure about the "real John" in Taboo. Obviously, he had a lot of fun, but doesn't he have fun in all of his shows? And he is a great actor - no doubt. Boy George said in the commentaries to Taboo on the DVD that it was the greatest contradiction with John as Marilyn: a real woman on stage and a real bloke off stage. I don't know the truth either. Maybe a part of each character fits? John also said once that the character of Tugger and his own personality have a lot in common (self-confidence, humour and as we have to admit: being loved by everyone [img]wink.gif[/img] ).
