what about grundy, holston, va high???

well, from what i saw of grundy last year @ Agie Skeens, they should always have a good team, cause they're just grundy, holston...i'm not to sure about, and va high I aint to sure about... but as for kelly, we should have a pretty dang good team this year...we'll have about 3 maybe 5 seniors and a bunch of juniors...so yeah...we should do good.

I am on the wrestling team myself and I take pride in strapping on those wrestling shoes every day. I Love to wrestle, it is my passion.. and goes neck in neck with football in importance in my eyes. I've been ready to wrestle for awhile now, and it's going to be good for me to get back in the room.

But JJK is not the best wrestling team in all of the state, crazy for saying that. We are not as good as we have been in passed years, but we are decent. Have the heart to get there, just going to take alot of hard work. We have Rural Retreat which is the best team in the region D at this point and one of the best at state last year if Im thinking correctly. We were 5th in the Region D, not sure where we were at state, so no we aren't one of the best in Virginia but I do love it.. and just going to take some work to get to where we want to be, trust me.

And as for Coach Crutchfield he is a great wrestling Coach and I wouldn't take a replacement for him anytime or any day. I will say he is one of the best wrestling Coaches, because he pushes us, and demands perfection and that's the way it should be. By no means am I taking anything away from any other Coach in the Region or State.. because there are alot of schools that produce good wrestlers.. that means good coaching, so yeah.. By no means am I taking anything away from any Coach who is in there respective wrestling practices every day.

But yeah I can't wait for wrestling, should be a good year.. teaching some new kids, and hopefully feeling like a leader that I want to be. Going to be fun.

I'd have to agree that Coach Crutchfield, is one of the best wrestling coaches around this area. I don't know how many clipboards I've seen him break over the years, but it's always fun to watch it happen. One question I've got for anyone who knows, when does wrestling practice start this year?
