Re: JIB vs. Pound

Okay people, heres what I think about this situation........... You all saying the wet field is what caused pound to get ahead of norton hahaha how stupid, A wet field would do the same to pound as it would norton. About the QB kneelin and stuff, well if he dont want hit then dont put him in is waht I say. Pound was wanting the ball back. I mean anything can happen with over a minute left in the ballgame. And talkin about the BS calls, well pound had a lot of Bs calls on them too so......I think norton knows that they played pound, If it wasnt for then 3 interceptions and 2 fumbles then it would hav been a lot better for pound. I mean other than that it would have been a tie ballgame. So lets just end all of this stupid stuff right now!!!!!!!!

    Re: JIB vs. Pound

Turnovers are part of the game.

That irrates me, blaming a loss on turnovers.

A defense that forces turnovers is a defense that wins.

Yeah Reggie Bush lol . I'm jk moonlight....Lienhert(sp) isn't to bad, but he does have alot of weapons around him. As for Marcus he isn't to bad himself but he also has a few weapons around him that make him better too.

I honestly think I am the only person on the East Coast who thinks "lil Vick" isnt as good as he is hyped up to be. Granted her is solid, but I just don't think he is worth all the trouble (before he ever took a snap this season) that he has already gotten himself into.

I like VT man and I don't think little Vick is an all - american that some see him as. I think as the year goes on he'll only get better. If the Maryland is any indication on the level he is at then I think he still has away to go. Granted he did run for over a 100yds and still passed for good numbers but to me he was making some bad reads that lead to a few turnovers. It's a wonder the score wasn't closer. I guess it is a good thing take has a tough Def.

    Re: JIB vs. Pound

dont get me wrong, I think he is a good qb, but I just dont think he as an All American, like you said, he has along way to go. And compared to his brother...His brother was already in the NFL when he was Marcus's age. He does have a great cast around him, and Beamer is doing a good job bringing him along this season (kinda like the way Cower did last year with Roethisberger.). Beamer is makin this year' offense a TEAM effort. Everyone is contributing. They have a good runnin game, great tight end, and a very talented group of young recievers. And a veteran line, which is just making it easier for the young guys to step up.

    Re: JIB vs. Pound

I agree 110% with that. Plus with Mike Vick you had guy who change an outcome of any game with just one play. Marcus doesn't have that just yet IMO.
