    Re: B-Ball

Pound should have a good team in the LPD along with Gate City and Norton.

Haysi should be the favorite in the BDD.

Twin Springs should have the edge in the Cumberland and may be the favorite again to win the Region D championship.

Twin Valley will dominate the BDD this year. With the addition of Goodman, they should win the region easily.

    Re: B-Ball

I agree Twin Valley should win the BDD & will be favored to win the Region D. LPD should be competitive this year with GC, Burton, Pound on top. Season will be here before you know it.

Twin Valley will be tough.. i think the lpd will come down between kelly gc and pound.. kelly should surprise some teams with all the transfers and the exchange student.. the cumberland will come down to ts and castlewood.. a lot of people will think ts is down this year...but they will surprise some teams.. dont count themn out of it yet

Gate City and Powell Valley? Didn't both teams' starting 5 graduate last year? I think Miles will take J.I. Burton to the Region Tourney along with Pound, considering they didn't lose a single player from last year's team. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelly upset a lot of teams though if their transfers are legit. Castlewood and Rye Cove out of the Cumberland. Haysi and Twin Valley out of the Black Diamond. LPD will get destroyed when the Region Tourney arrives.
The test is simple, if "your" team wins a national championship, do you get a championship ring? If the answer is yes, then you can say "we." If not, you can't.

    Re: B-Ball

actually no...gate city has kilgore and hackney returning as starters and parks moving into nate's role at pg and he should do just fine, the 2nd best pg behind miles in the district

powell valley was really impressive at the summer camps and have a lot of potential...pound, well pound was just an embarassment at regionals last year, but they should finish in the top 4 or 5, burton is a one man team again this year, kelly could sneak in, but i guess we'll have to wait and see just how good the players they got are

    Re: B-Ball

Gate City was a one man team last year and they made it to Regionals. If Miles is back 100% then no one in the LPD will stop him. No offense to Parks, but he's not a better PG than Brad Mullins from Pound. Mullins is probably a better shooter and ball handler than Miles, he just doesn't have the speed.

    Re: B-Ball

nate clark was one of the top 10 players in a loaded region last year and kilgore and hackney can both score in bunches...so no gc wasnt a one-man team last year...if that were the case then JMc wouldve gotten POY, but i do believe the big argument was that brad was more valuable to his team b/c gc's players were all good...so that kinda contradicts it now doesnt it?

parks has better handles and composure than miles as well and the dude was a freshman last year, so yeah id say he'll be a better pg than mullins

    either way, gc and pv
