I'm gonna have to agree with Widespread on this one. Parks will be a good PG but he gets too jittery at times and that's not a good thing for a PG. Mullins on the other hand has good handles and passing ability.

    Re: B-Ball

parks is a jitter-bug, as you can see from football
he is MUCH more calm though, and has shown more of what he can do this summer...but all this is beside the point...gc > pound and pv will join them in regionals

    Re: B-Ball

I wasn't that impressed with Twin Valley last year, so I would be surprised to see them win the Region. I thought Twin Springs, Haysi, and Gate City were all much better teams.

I will need to see them in action to form a better opinion.

    --------
Twin Valley will dominate the BDD this year. With the addition of Goodman, they should win the region easily.

    Re: B-Ball

I don't know why everybody is automatically thinking Gate City and Powell Valley will make it to regionals. There are 3 other teams that will have a chance: Burton, Pound and Clintwood. Burton gets Miles back, Pound has everybody back and Clintwood has a new coach that will bring discipline to a team that has a lot of potential.

The addition of Kent Goodman at Twin Valley will definitely give them an edge against everyone else in the region.

Clintwood lost a lot didn't they? Not to say they won't be any good, but they will have to prove themselves. Mills has that Kelly blood in him, so I'll be pulling for him anytime except against the Indians.

Nobody has mentioned Coeburn, I wouldn't overlook them.

    Re: B-Ball

A lot of people in Clintwood are saying that our b-ball team wont be much. I dont really know myself, I think we will be ok. We have a couple of tall guys who can play in David Mullins and Jordan Sloan, David played real well for us last year. Evan Vanover should run our offense pretty well, I think we will be ok, what do you thing wave10s?

    Re: B-Ball

it's simple...out goes justin hamilton, so goes clintwood

clintwood hasn't really been competitive in bball since
