Andrea Lalic', a 6-foot-1 transfer student from Yugoslavia, continues to be a force at the net as well as behind the service line for the Lady Blue Devils.
Lalic' said she had not played volleyball the last couple of years but when you see her presence on the court, it's hard to imagine she skipped two years on the court before joining the Lady Blue Devils this year, where she's hoping to help lead Gate City back to the VHSL state tournament.

"I came over here to learn English," said Lalic' of her move to Gate City, after playing club ball in Yugoslavia . " I did not play the past two years because of money and stuff."

pv is one game ahead and they play again on wednesday. i think that girl from gc is more like 6'3" than 6'1".

so the #2 spot depends on the next game?

I think Gc and Pv will go to regions.. I dunno how good Rye Cove is this year. but that is the only team there I see giving either of the LPD teams any trouble at all
