Were not real fancy in what we do. But damn we got some coaches that makes us do it good.
We may not win every game, but we always come to play.
And you will know you have played us, because we don't go away.
When the final buzzer sounds, we'll come shake your hand, one thing we learned is to also be gentlemen.
We learned the game from a man who taught us to be alot. One to play the game. One to be a man of heart.
To learn and grow and take pride in what the blue the gold and white we wear represents.
A small town in the land of many that has pride and heart and alot of guts.
We may not win them all but when you play us you won't forget.
Were the Dogs/Dawgs. We come to play and no we don't go away.
We can't because we come from a school and from a town, who loves us and backs us and won't give up on us.
Can we give up on them. Hell no.
They just call us Dogs or Dawgs.
Yeah were small and few. But our bite is mean and vicious. You won't forget you played us.
And yes we are the Dogs/Dawgs. And when you play us. You won't forget us.
Forearms flying and snot rolling, your eyes may be glazed but were Dog/Dawgs and no you won't forget us or forget you played us.

Look I have the most respect in the world for Appy and I love the style they play. But gee whiz this post and posts like it get on my nerves. If a pound player got on here, and no I'm not a Wildcat fan, and said we play Wildcat or Wyldkat football everyone would call them stupid.

1 thing I can guarentee... Win, Lose, or Draw......your gonna be beat up after you play Appy.

This is about Appy and PV which you know nothing about.
Rivalry.

And were not Pound. So get a clue. We're Appy. Dog's or Dawg's.
As clear as i can make it.

Pound always starts the season winning the LPD and state.
While others well they make it happen, while Pound is where in the LB.
If anything. Those in the LB need to shut up till they can show up.

This weeks it's Dog's/Dawgs vs. Vikings. Which you evidently know nothing about.

So do us all a favor and shut that hole called a mouth.
And no i don't need to hear how good a p-nut team Pound had or has. Ok.
Get a clue this is varsity football. So cool the engines until the LB can answer. Which they haven't since when?

I am not putting down Appy or the rivalry but we have heard it all before.

You realize that in 98 Julius left at halftime to go on a recruiting trip? AT THE HALF. Just left.

How many years has it been since Appy has beaten PV? Kelly, Burton, Gate City and Clintwood all have beaten PV since Appalachia has.

What use to be a rivalry is no more. Those days are done and over, Gate City is Powell Valleys only true rival.

The last good PV, Appy game was when Mabe played and Sheldon Adams was the RB for PV. That was a great atmosphere at Bullit Park. The games since have had the great spirit but not the great play on the field. I think this one will be a great and I think the Dawgs/Dogs or whatever you want to call them will prevail. But in these last few years the PV, GC rivalry has been a better one.

the last game they played was in 97 since then its been all powell valley, all the time. No one can dispute that. You can try and stir the echoes all you want. Nothing is going to change. This is Powell Valleys quote/un quote down year. And Appalachia has been rebuilding for almost 10 years now. But hey I guess you have to be optimistic I guess.

Well the Vikes won that year I was speaking of but it was still a great game until the 4th then PV broke it loose. But numbers are hard to overcome and Appy has been felling that lately.

No Richardson is walking through the door. Scott it walking through the door. Leedy is walking thorugh the door. Jessie is walking through the door.
Two Mabes will be walking through the door. And a few Sullivans. Hmm who that is a little history. Deal with it.
