ESU, they just signed Darnell Jefferson, a 5'10 tailback and punt returner. He will be number 20, but they will undubidily be number 1.

    Re: Futures

    Ah.

Bright future... Powell Valley for one, because just think of how powerful Malcom Pinkston is going to be when he's a junior or even a senior. Cedric Mitchell is also only going to be a junior next year, so when he's a senior and Pinkston is a junior, they'll both make up for quite a duo.

Appalachia is also still pretty young, as Cody Richardson is only a sophomore this year... same for Brett Leedy. Both are pretty good players who should improve as each year goes by.

    Gate City... not too sure.

Burton was also a fairly young team this year, and although they did lose a few important players, especially Jordan Thacker and Lorenzo Miles, they'll be having more and more speed coming up from behind to assist. Not to mention the fact that Ethan Stewart still has two years left to play.

    Pound and Clintwood... not sure.

Coeburn and Kelly... both need help at this point, but I think that the time will come when both will be rejuvinated and will be able to compete with the teams in the LPD. When that time comes, however, is beyond my knowledge.

    Re: Futures

lpdfan05...Clintwood has nothing more than potential. I believe these kids have a chance to be good. We need to avoid just telling these kids they are going to be unstoppable. Every team that has been successful in the past has had to work for what they achieived...Nobody has given it to them. The boys from Clintwood will have to work hard and play as a team to be successful. Offseason workouts is where success starts...
