They havent announced the DROY but I would have taken Tatupu over Merriman. Just look at the situation that seattle is in, their defense has improved a ton from last year. Tatupu is a star in the making. (I know Merriman might be too, but all he really does is rush the passer)

The nfl in conjunction with pepsi has a rookie of the year, it looks like its decided by the fans so I guess Merriman was the DROY, I would assume Tatupu finished 2nd and Thurman 3rd if I had to guess.
Thats scary that Lovie is coach of the year, Wannstedt and Jauron both won the award so I was hoping Lovie wouldnt win it, its a curse. Regardless though, even when the bears werent any good last year, Lovie never made the stupid decisions like Wanstache and Jauron(he looks like the 40 year old virgin).
