Knox Farragut Baseball. The dynasty continues.

Farragut wasn't supposed to do much this year. They had a ton of underclassmen playing key roles. They caught fire at the right time. They won a close game over you LPD fans favorite school Dobyns Bennett last friday to go to the state tourney.

Farragut has been the premier baseball school in Tennessee. They have 3 state titles in the last 4 seasons. They have been runner ups in 1999,2001 and 2002.

did the guy from DB retire? Ritz?

I know he was an All American at LMU, and from what I heard was one injury away from getting drafted by the Reds at catcher.

Sounds like they are pulling a J.J. Kelly. With 4 freshmen, 3 sophs, and 2 seniors starting, not too many folks thought we'd be 16-4 (riding a 9 game winning streak I think), 2 close wins over GC, and on to regions (regardless of today's outcome). Of course, the folks from the Reservation are not suprised.
