Well, I called Gardner and idiot when he pinch hit Berkman in the 7th, I believe, and I may have just been validated. Ends up using Carlos Lee against Rivera in the bottom of the ninth.
I am at work and not watching the game, but was any of the balls hit into the outfield in the ninth possibly playable? Why not have Andruw in even as a defensive replacement considering he is pretty much the best defensive outfielder in the game.

It looked like NL may have been on their heels a little. I thought the Konerko single should have been fielded by Cabrera at 3rd? Who knows though. Maybe they just expected Hoffman to shut the AL down.
