After the game p;ayed tonight in Appy I think the Norton Raiders should get some well deserved respect. It seems as if they have never gotten what they deserved. I say great game Raiders and keep up the hard work. You deserve to have a great season keep your heads up..!!!

They've been to the state championship two years in a row, and they have been praised lots on this forum.

I don't understand your post at all. Two time state runner up and they don't get respect?
We may kid around but folks on here. Well most know their sports and most know Burton has the speed to beat anyone.
Myself i knew they would have 4-5 great years with the talent they had on their JV team a couple of years ago.
Respect is earned. Burton has earned theirs.
This is a sports forum. Your not gonna hear a lot of people praising a team that is winning.
Think about it. Everyone pulls for the under dog.
Be glad Burton is winning. It beats going through the pains of rebuilding.
Respect is earned not given away. And it's harder to keep once you earn it.

I think that everyone who knows who burton is respects them. cause burton is a very good football team. Co-District champs last year, State Runner up for the last two years, thats something to be proud of. I dont get how you say that after playing tonight at appy, we should finally get respect. Not tryin to offend anyone here but big deal, you beat Appy. thats great so move on. respect is not given it is earned. u all have earned your respect for the last two years so earn it again this year. go 14-0 so you can have everyones respect this year.
