without a play off system, this is a waste of time, its like Coeburn and Hurley playin a game now. Two terrible teams in a meaningless game.

Say what you want, 1 game has meaning, the others are fillers. Wastes of time.
Like you said earlier, without a playoff system they are meaningless except for the occasional bragging that one can do. Money and pride.

I have no idea why the GT players would want to be in the C-F-A and not get to do any traveling for a week like every other team that is in a bowl.
What I like is how they talk about the big tough ACC and their conference game is between #16 & #23. I also like that they are ranked this way because of who they are give UM or FSU the same records and they would be in the top 10.

WADR, from what I had heard and I'm sure 22 had the same connection, GT being the #1 choice was tied to them beating UGA and losing the ACC title game. If another team besides UGA had been invited, they would have still been a strong candidate if they lost in the ACC CG.
And the ACC is indeed down this season, but I honestly don't think it is as bad as perceived. The ACC beat its self up this season (as did some of the SEC teams)but the top teams fared pretty well OOC.
