Question?

Do you ever feel like the "academic" schools (AKA St. Paul and J.J. Kelly) get the short end of the stick when it comes to officiating in just about any sport?

    Re: Question?

Not for sure what you mean? That has never crossed my mind. Why do you ask?

I think any fan of any school feels their team gets the short end of the stick when it comes to officiating, that just the nature of being a fan.

    Re: Question?

I guess you could look at it that way. But I will go to games and if the team that "supposedly" isn't supposed to win gets ahead, that whistle starts blowing (or stops) pending on who the call would be on.

I sometimes wonder if TW gets the short end of the stick because the refs have to travel so far

    Re: Question?

They have the "pace team" and Kelly and St. Paul always win the competitions. Kelly and St. Paul also have the highest SOL scores. I guess what I am trying to say is that it seems as if you can't have brains and brawns these days.

    Re: Question?

You got that right... I am in Western Lee County quite often in my work and I have to say, that is the flatest land I have ever seen in these parts.... Especially in Wise County were there are about 10 parcels of land that are flat. I enjoy the drive down there, especially with the new road.....

    Re: Question?

Yeah...btw Pioneer Blue...sometimes my friends and I drive down to Lee County because we know some people down there...I was wondering if you knew where "Booger Holler" was? Somebody told me Rose Hill...but we don't want to go looking for something and get lost.

    Re: Question?

Umm...If it's the same one I'm thinkin of it's actually across the state line in TN but you do have to turn off in Rose Hill.
