The school board gave Coach Godsey a letter saying that they're going to vote on whether or not he gets to coach softball this year. They're basing all this on bullcrap rumors and he needs our support. If you or a parent would like to go to the School Board meeting on behalf of Coach Godsey, it will be on Monday at 6:00 at the school board office.

If the board already has its mind made up, then he's gone. I've seen that happen before. Public support don't seem to mean much to them.

The school board officials are up for re-election. This would be a very bad time, to upset alot of voters. There will be so much backlash if they get rid of Coach Godsey. How many times has the man been voted Coach of the Year? I heard the girls were launching a major uprising to stop this from happening. The school board members are making big mistake if they get rid of Coach Godsey.
so let's recap...the girls that this board is accusing him of having improper relations with are going to bat for the guy??

You got it right. The girls are going to be there in force with their parents to support Godsey. A re-election year is not a good time to force this type of issue with all the support he has. Doesn't matter if ur rear end is made of solid gold, or how many championships you have. If you knowingly do something wrong, it'll catch up to you. Truth be told, he was taking the "nice guy" approach toward a friend and it backfired. Coach Godsey isn't the one accused of the wrongdoing.
