That was said very nicely. I think you actually thought about what you typed before you did it, unlike most of us. I agree with you completely. I must say that being in the school does make one think a little differently because one sees it first hand...
Being directly involved makes it tough to see things sometimes. That's why there are phrases like "can't see the forest for the trees". Not saying that age is the only factor, but many of the long time GC faithful, who I think are out of school and been out, were able to take the emotion out of this. Which, under the circumstances, you have to. It actually is made a lot tougher because it seems everybody likes Godsey so much. If he was a jerk, it would be easier to remove him.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
Also the GC faithful are for the most part are older and wiser than I, I still have those youthful hormones as one might say.
