Re: wow..

Thanks for the heads up. I had forgotten about that. Abbott is tough on the mound.

Tincher has done pretty well for Tech I noticed as well this year.

I have seen Tincher first hand... a fews years ago PV played James River..that is the High School team that she played for. She actually played for another team in the New River Valley area but never got to pitch so she tranferred and they won 3 state championships.. I f I were the other coacgh I would have been kicking myself ... anyway she struck PV out 18 times.. 18 k's no walks and 2 singles.. and a passed ball on strike out... that is it.... she is awsome and throws harder than anyone I have everseen.. including Abbott.. I watched her at the State line clkassic a few years ago and she is really good also.

I don't think she throws harder than Abbott, but she is very good. Her senior year if I am not mistaken she got to pitch against the US Olympic team in an exhibition for an inning or two and struck a couple out I believe.

I have seen them both throw close up and she has a little more zip on the ball... but they are both high sixties low seventies. Just my perception of it.

Abbott was clocked at 72 I believe yesterday. Both are top notch, but Abbott is a little better overall.
