Scrimmages?

Anyone go to the 7 on 7 at Burton, how did the teams look?

You know I have noticed that NO ONE wants to give any details on 7 on 7 at all (I hope this additude does not carry over into the season or this board will be useless [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] )

It was a typical 7 on 7. You can't tell too much from those other than speed. Norton looked pretty good when the first team was in there. The thing I am most impressed with so far was not only the overall team speed which has been there for a few years but the bulk that the kids have put on. I didn't even recognize half of them. The QB from Lee High looked pretty sharp, he hit alot of his short patterns in good stride, but as always on a 7 on 7 you have people running everywhere and you can't tell a whole lot about anything.

All of the people in attendance also got to take a glance at the first phase of the new Athletic Complex. It is definately going in the right direction, very, very, nice facility. When they get the whole thing finished it will be something else.

I think it is a 7 on 7.............Haysi and Shelby Va did one last night but I have not found anyone who saw it

Hmmm......Shelby Valley was supposed to play Kelly and St. Paul in 7-on-7 this evening at the college. Needless to say, SV didn't show.

Did JJK-SP do their thing? How did it go?
