Yep! Clintwood and Norton have had some great games.

1996 has to be considered one of the best.

Also one of the best game I have witnessed was the 96 game I think that was knotted at 0-0 at the end of regulation to go 3 OT's and Clintwood won 16-13. Burton had it tied at 13-13 and an extra point to win it but it was partially blocked on a bad snap and Clintwood capitalized and kicked a short field goal to win it. That was a truly classic game. </div></div>

I remember that night being cold as [censored]. I think Doug Campbell might have had to change jerseys. I believe UtVols was the kicker in that game for us!

I remember standing on the sidelines that night watching the kick, when it was blocked I think I went crazy...almost everyone did....

I agree this was prolly the best game played between JIB and Clintwood

Don't remind me Shoe. I still get ragged on by some saying I missed it, which technically I did, but in my own defense it was blocked, at least someone realizes that, LOL

Ah, man some missed thier block and thats how you missed lol. If we would have won we would have went 8-2 I think? Anyways, That was one of the best teams we've had IMO.

    Re: JIB/CW

I don't remember how much time was left in the game that night either, but it was late in the game before Norton scored.

I remember the field was wet that night. Both teams had some trouble holding on to the ball.

I thought at one point it was going to go into OT with a score of 0-0.

I think there was about 1 minute and 40 some seconds left on the clock. Wasn't dotson the running back for Clintwood then? He couldn't have weighed more than a buck forty but he ran like he was about 220lbs.
