read the aoki quote the other day

he would do well in the UFC, being favored and probably winning against everyone, except one.

BJ would maul him. it would not be close. BJ is a better grappler and a better boxer. Aoki would get KTFO.
and im not a Penn fan, but at LW, NO ONE in the world can beat him.

Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers won't be the only two heavyweights to clash on Nov. 7.

As MMAjunkie.com first reported, Antonio Silva (13-1) will make his Strikeforce debut on the main card of "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers."

Sources close to the organization indicated late Thursday night that bout agreements have been finalized for "Junior" to face Fabricio Werdum (12

    Forrest wants his revenge.

He may get it, who knows how Tito will end up fighting.

A non-title fight between Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (26-2-1) and Strikeforce newcomer Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (7-4) has been booked and completes the main-card lineup for the organization's Nov. 7 debut event on CBS.

Sources close to the organization have confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that the fight has been booked and simply awaits approval from the Illinois Athletic Commission.

The upcoming event, "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers," takes place at the 11,000-seat Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill., and features a headliner between Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers. The night's four-fight main card airs live on CBS.

****it, why make Mousasi fight someone he will destroy?

I wanted to see him fight someone that could actually challenge him.

Soku just beat Bob Sapp in the Super Hulk tourney, he will have a busy end of the year,he will fight Mousasi first then fight Minowa at the finals of the Dream Super Hulk tourney.

    Mousasi by 1st rd. Sub.

Re: Boxing/MMA Fights - local, national, world

WoW WEC43 really dilivered Donald Cerrone vs. Ben Henderson

Henderson defeated Cerrone via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47).

That was a killer fight. Maybe fight of the Yr. I though Cerrone took it tho.
    GO VOLS
