Agreed 100%. What a waste of time .. like you said, though, it was free so I can't complain too much about it. I could have always walked away at any time, but most of the fights were lame and the main event was a joke. I was hoping Irvin would put up more of a fight, but going up against someone of Silva's caliber, my hopes were way too high.

Keep in mind, folks, that Sylvia has been a 'champion' in the past in the UFC for a pretty good while. And also please keep in mind that whenever Fedor is brought up in a conversation with Dana White (UFC president), he refers to him as simply a "farce," as if he's not even a worthy competitor.

Irvin is bottom of the barrel at 205. No worries about Silva losing at 205, because he's not fighting at 205. He's wanting his friend Lyota Machida to have his shot at the 205 title.

this fight WON'T happen. They are training partners, and friends. Silva recently sat down and did an interview where he expressed his desires to see Machida have his shot at the 205 title, since he is undefeated in the UFC!

Althought Sylvia hasn't been up to par since his beat down by Randy Couture, he was still stiff competition.
Fedor did what he does best, he destroyed his oponent. What he did to Sylvia is what happened to him in his last 2 losses.. a stand up game to knock him down, then a choke out..
Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world, no questions asked.

Looks like good ole' Tito will probably join with Affliction, and we all know Randy will as soon as his contract and crap with the UFC is over.

Andrei Arlovski had the fight of the night, and knock out of the night. That was a great fight. He looks like the old pit bull we all know and love.
Great Affliction card!! Minotor looked freakin' great.

How did Vitor Belfort look? I only tuned in right in time for the Sylvia/Fedor fight (thank you dear Lord for that) but can't get Sherdog to load up to see the play-by-play or anything else for that matter.
