Florian drops to 145. Interesting move. I don't see him having trouble making that weight. But I don't know what he normally walks around at.

Re: Boxing/MMA Fights - local, national, world

lol if Sergei wins more than one fight I will be EXTREMELY surprised. Im not even sure he wins the first fight. He has not been very active and looked terrible in his last fight. AA has good boxing and could be a tough matchup if his chin was anything but glass. Sergei is a very hard hitter but his technique has not been razor sharp of late not to mention he looked very flabby and out of shape in his last outing.

Here is the HW GP bracket:

    strikeforce gp brackett 300x240

SF made MAJOR mistakes in the way the bracket is set up, its the dumbest **** Ive ever seen. I cannot believe they let this colossal ****up go unchanged. Why in the world are the four best fighters on the same side? Why are two of their three best HWs fighting each other in round one?? That makes no sense at all. Overeem and Werdum, the top two SF HWs right now (AO is the champ and Werdum #1 contender), put them on opposite sides for ****'s sake. Completely ridiculous.

But it plays out like this IMO:

    Side A:

    Fedor
    BigFoot Silva

    Overeem
    Werdum

    Fedor v. Overeem

    B:

    AA
    Sergei

    Josh Barnett
    Brett Rogers

    Sergei K. v. Josh Barnett

Overeem v. Barnett in the final, with Overeem winning it all.

Its an awesome format with great fighters but **** poor matchmaking by Coker and crew

I would not be surprised if Barnett went all the way.

    Florian was 185 on TUF.

Not surprised in the Silva/Fedor fight. Silva was way to big for Fedor. Once he got mount the fight was over.
