    Re: Spider/Okami at UFC 88

Coomer has put on some excellent shows.

Arena is good at having 1 every single month.

Re: MMA Live ESPN (Video) - Kimbo vs Shamrock

rumors are starting to turn that Captain America himself, Randy Couture will be returning to the UFC to fight Brock Lesnar..possible November match-up...

and that the UFC is lifting it's ban against co-promoting.. in hopes to promote with M-1 Global and set up a Fedor vs Couture fight.

I would love to see that fight. But if Lesnar beat Couture, that would be a HUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEEEE upset in the MMA world and would definitely stir things up and make Lesnar one of the better heavyweights out there.

I think that would be jumping the gun a bit. Beating a much smaller 45 year old man with more than a year of ring rust isn't going to put you at the top of the food chain IMO.

I think it would give him much more credibility than he has now of course.

Lesnar has a lot of proving to do in my mind and beating Couture, which I doubt will happen anyway, won't answer all the questions for me.

I would have to go with Randy on this one. I do believe Lesnar is a great athlete and good wrestler, but Randy is the man.
Will you ever rise up and fight for your God-given rights? History shows that evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

    Couture is back

In an official conference call today, UFC President Dana White announced that the 45-year-old Hall of Fame inductee had agreed to an out-of-court new three-fight contract. And, as speculated, will return against Brock Lesnar in the main event at UFC 91 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena (not Portland, Ore.) in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a five round fight for the heavyweight championship of the world.

The winner of the bout will become the heavyweight championship of the world and fight the winner of UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro"? Nogueira and Frank Mir to unite the title sometime after their bout on December 27.
