Re: Liddell - Evans
Liddell knocked out cold by Evans.
One of the most vicious knockouts I've seen in a long time. Liddell's career is over, folks. He just ain't the same.

Re: Liddell - Evans
I'm dead serious.. just wait until the GIFs start popping up everywhere.
When I saw Chuck go down completely out cold (not laying there with his hands up, but turned over on his stomach), my heart almost stopped. That's the first time I've ever seen him actually KNOCKED OUT. He was down after being KO'd for several minutes, also. Easily the worst defeat in his career by a LONGSHOT. It makes Rampage's "KO" look like absolutely nothing. And the punch was about as crisp as you can get - Evan's entire hand landed DIRECTLY on the bottom of Liddell's chin and you could see his entire head/neck snap as if he'd been hit with a baseball bat.
Most of the fight seemed like a feeling out process, as neither really did much up until the point at which Chuck cornered Evans up against the cage and Evans countered him with the fight-ending knockout punch.

Re: Liddell - Evans
2nd round.. 1st round was a feeling out process, then in the 2nd round is when Chuck got a little more aggressive it seems, but when he pushed him up against the cage and kept doing it, Rashad suddenly began throwing awesome counter punches. Not hard ones, but clipping him every time he'd come in at him. Eventually, he caught him with that sweet last punch which was the hardest of them all. Very disappointed . . but Chuck is 38, so it's understandable that he's starting to drop off a bit now.

Re: Liddell - Evans
Yeah, the showboating was annoying, but in the post-fight interview he showed some class by saying he hoped Chuck was OK and that he was happy to get a win over such a great fighter, etc.; but his screaming wife in the background certainly didn't help matters much. I think it may have actually been an angry Chuck Liddell fan stabbing her in the back repeatedly with a knife. "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
