Gannon felt like he could have beaten Kimbo really, really easily under MMA rules.
Of course I understand He had yet to train MMA....
Sean Gannon is an old internet acquaintance of mine from the old catch wrestling forum.
When he felt comfortable that he wasn't speaking (typing) to too big of an audience he implied that Kimbo was pretty limited as to skills. Tough, but limited skill wise.

Did anyone notice Kimbo didn't even touch gloves when they met in the center of the octagon/ring just before the fight?
Thought it was a little ironic . . tries to act too cool for school and gets demolished before he can even land a punch.
Something else to think about: Petruzelli was a UFC Ultimate Fighter (season 2) loser, and he jumps up from the undercard to the main event and clean sweeps EliteXC's biggest star. You know that right now, Dana White is probably creaming his pants.
Officially retired
yes Dana White literally has white stains all over his pants. I do not want to see EliteXC destroyed, however, this could be the ticket straight to the bottom. But I like what their doing over there, they're bringing in Tito and possibly setting up the Frank Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz re-match.
They are also co-promoting with Affliction. Could end up stringing together some huge fights.
But Kimbo just got laid out by a younger, more energetic guy.
UFC 2-0 last night? Arlovski and Seth
When I first heard of who Shamrocks replacement was. I couldnt find anything on the net about him. I noticed that kimbo tried to act to cool. Even when the lady was trying to interview him. Then No touching of gloves. He looked like a chump shorty after.
One of the espns just showed the knockout. Didnt they do a cover on him?
GO VOLS
When I heard who Kimbo was fighting I thought he was in trouble. When I seen how dry Kimbo was I knew he was beat. I hate to see him get beat like that mainly because that really hurt the organization. They are having enough trouble as it is.
It would have been wise to show Cyborg fight. She is one scary chick that can fight.
crack is whack
I think if EliteXC stays on CBS, we'll see Gina Carano get beat by Cyborg.
Apparently Kimbo didn't say much at the post-fight conference, either. He came out and made a very brief statement, then refused to answer questions from reporters. No wonder he didn't want to talk after the fight last night, either - he's probably embarrassed like hell after that disaster, even if he may not openly admit it.
Direct quote from the post-fight conference:
"This man knocked me out in front of my family. That's f--ked up."?
Here's an interesting article with even more info on it:

I think that, after being beaten by a nobody, he knows he's really going to have to step up his game and fight for his left the next time he steps into the cage.
Officially retired
His opponent is not a nobody. He's not a huge name in the industry, but he's got some nice wins and skills.
He has the skill it is just getting his mind back in the game.
