imo brown will wreck faber like he did in the first fight...faber needs to go down to 135 and fight torres

lawler will beat shields...lawler has good takedown defense and jake's standup is his weak point

aa should wreck rogers as well..unless rogers lands a haymaker

diaz will have his way with smith...could be fight of the night

    hoping randleman beats whitehead

    baroni/riggs could be a slugfest

I agree 100%, they won't let Kimbo fight in the first few because they want people to keep tuned in. And like Burton said, if he does succeed and have a decent showing, it will be a win win on both parts. IT is gonna be all heavyweights which should be interesting. Can't wait until September to see this one.

And I hope Faber takes out Brown this time around. Faber got caught in that last fight and Brown made him pay. Faber has the better endurance, speed, technique, etc but Brown is stronger and all it takes is him landing a big right and you are done. Should be a good one and I will be turning in on Sunday.

Yeah great move by Dana. Added all the shit talking he has done about Kimbo. Throw in the the 2 very vocal coaches, should be one of the more interesting ones so far. I wonder if any other big names will be on the show. I saw were Lashley was considering trying out but didn't get to read up on it.

kimbo is a better man than I am, i wouldnt go fight for a dude that bashed me hardcore every chance he got.

and i think faber really wants to redeem his lost, brown has been unbeatable of late, but i think faber will try and really turn it on and try to win it asap.

i think shields ability to take down lawler will keep him from getting his legs into his punches and knocking out shields.
and lawler has proved it a lot that he is uncapable on the ground.

I got to looking at Baroni's record. He hasnt ever had a 4 fight win streak. He has won 3 in a row a few times but never 4. He is currently at 3 str8 wins. So who knows. Just thought that was interstesting.

    Strikeforce on Showtime tonight.

Mike Whithead beat Kevin Randleman via split decision in the first fight of the night.

Joe Riggs worked over Baroni to win a unanimous decision. Baroni was not in the fight at all.

Nick Diaz tapped out Scott Smith in the 3rd round with a rear naked choke. Diaz straight up worked Smith by landing over 200 shots on him.

    Arlovski/ Rogers is next.

Yeh that was something. Wish I would have put some money down on Rogers. Wonder what the odds were. Rogers/Overreem could be a hell of a fight.

Re: Boxing/MMA Fights - local, national, world

rodgers surprised the **** out of me, he knocked AA out instantly.

i think thats the hardest ive ever seen AA get knocked out.

and shields was able to neutralize lawler and get him on the ground, and i knew if lawler left his feet he was in big trouble.

the best fight of the weekend is tonight tho, MTB and faber.

i picked faber, i have to stick with it, but this may be MTB's time to shine
