he trashed the corporate sponsor, and acted like an ignorant buffoon.

i dont like him, i dont like mir either

you cant take away from his performance, and dana took care of the attitude problem, he had a bud light at the press conference

the danger is that there isnt anyone who can stop brock

i honestly do not see anyone being able to withstand the weight difference.

lesnar comes in at almost 300 lbs for the fights, hes a super fighting at heavy

minotaro doesnt stand a chance, carwin is almost as big, but he isnt as strong or athletic.

lashley is still undefeated, it wont be long before dana tries to bring him in.

that would be very interesting, lashley may be the only man that is as upper body strong as lesnar.

    Saw the vid last night.

Penn has great technique, his skill level is astounding, but his level of cardio and athleticism sometimes lacks something to be desired. In fact when he loses it's almost always his cardio that does him in (not counting GSP who simply overwhelmed him).

yeah bj is notorious for not being fully prepared for fights, and taking people lightly.

aside from the second GSP fight, he almost always doesnt train as hard as he should.

he says he is ready for florian, but kenny's cardio is not in question, so bj better be ready.

but in terms of raw skill and talent, i would say yes, he is the most talented mma fighter, maybe ever.

just read an article on Brock Lesnar. It says he benches around 475, and squats around 700ish. And near 300 pounds, he runs a 4.65 40 yard dash... wow... that's a freak of nature

lesnar should be fighting in the super heavyweight divison, 270 and up

and i wouldnt be surprised to see faber put on ten pounds and try to fight BJ

but dont get it twisted, kenny florian can beat BJ. im not sure he will, but he has all the skills needed to beat BJ

Re: Boxing/MMA Fights - local, national, world

Affliction Entertainment and M-1 Global are looking for a new opponent to face Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction “Trilogy” on Aug. 1 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Multiple sources have told Sherdog.com that the California State Athletic Commission will not license Josh Barnett after testing positive in an undisclosed test. Calls to the California State Athletic Commission and Affliction Entertainment were not immediately returned.

Barnett said he had not been notified of any issues with his eligibility as of Tuesday evening.

“I took my test three weeks ago. I would have thought I would have heard something by now,” Barnett told Sherdog.com.

However, the former UFC heavyweight champion said he had not checked his phone messages recently and later added, “No matter what happens with this, I can assure you I will clear my name. This will not be something that I am defined by.”

Both Bobby Lashley and Vitor Belfort have agreed in principle to face the world’s No. 1 heavyweight on 11 days’ notice, according to two separate sources close to the negotiations. One source told Sherdog.com that Emelianenko will have the opportunity to choose between the two replacements.

Belfort, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, is scheduled to face American Top Team standout Jorge Santiago in a middleweight bout on the Aug. 1 card. Lashley, a former World Wrestling Entertainment star, is 4-0 since his professional debut seven months ago.
