Bright did well, but it was your typical run, run, run, run, run, run, run Offense for Coeburn and your typical run-and-gain-a-yard or mediocre short pass Offense for St. Paul. Both teams had sloppy Defense, albeit the safety Coeburn got on St. Paul later in the game (or so I heard). </div></div>
If St. Paul didnt have Corey Ellis this year, the team would have taken a year off. Coeburns D was pretty crappy from what I saw though. It was definitely boring, but the "almost" fight between some 60 yr old and 16 yr old afterwards was pretty entertaining
Dang what happened did the punk throw a shirt at the 60 year old or something?

Naw, just Rednecks and "Gangsters" dont mix.
It's at damn 8 ball mafia..lol
I doubt most of them have 2 balls
Gotta watch out for the St Paul Sopranos. Them foos be strapped!
You actually might be right. All I know is as soon as I heard "Dont let da grey har foo ya", it got nasty lol
Wise County just needs to round up a slew of rednecks to hunt em down and whip that a$$...I still laugh about any group that calls themselves the "8 ball mafia"....what a joke. I'd volunteer.
They both were pretty funny, but I was hoping that old man beat the hell out of whoever they were. They stood right behind me all night talkin bout their "biotch probs". lmao

Sometimes I wonder if you understand the game of football. </div></div>
I know that running the ball is the bread-and-butter of most offenses, but I don't find Coeburn's style of offense very entertaining to watch because they run so many of the same plays over and over again and never really do anything interesting or exciting.
Welcome to football in SWVA, aside from UVAW.
I can't think of an offense in the LPD as one-dimensional and boring as the one I saw last night. Bright runs hard, but when he gets the ball a million times per game, you sort of lose interest and that sense of wonder . . "What will they do next?" Just keep in mind I'm not saying that it doesn't work - I'm just saying that it's not very exciting (to me) to watch.
St. Paul mixed up things a lot more, but couldn't get the job done and made some really big mistakes. They were just totally off and are definitely in a state of re-building.
Congrats to the Knights for coming up with a win, though. The Castlewood--Coeburn game in a couple weeks should be a pretty good one I imagine.
