Yeah R13 I was there, I was standing on the guest bleachers for a while then went and stood on the field once the hitting really started. Malik is gonna be a good one.
what counts posted makes PVs already impossibly tough schedule even tougher.
does anyone around here play a schedule half as hard as PV has this year?

what does anyone know about harlan co.?
i know nothing, cept its an away game
if they are good, thats 7 out of 10 games taht will be tough games
if pv can make it thru, they will be battle tested
Gate City's is pretty nasty as well. PV, Richlands, South, Bluefield
Gate City should have the toughest schedule around, but PVs is solid also. Harlan County was pretty good last year I believe in their first year merged, but Im not sure overall how they done.
They were good last year. Harlan County was probably the most physical team Lee played. Their defense held Graham to 0 yards last year (only game he didn't go over 100)....other than a couple of good long scrambles by Mullins, most really anything came through the air against them. Lost a couple of their top backs and the starting qb I know of. They do have another set of pretty good backs returning including one (Green) who played qb against Lee last season (with the starter Blanton hurt), who should move back to rb. It was a good, close game in the first half last year against Lee. Their tight end got free behind the defense a couple of times to score or set them up for one (believe it was tied at the half at 14-14), then in the second half they really started to slowly wear Lee down and take over late and won 34-14. Not sure what kind of team they'll have this year, they'll host Lee in the 2nd week.
went to the blue-white game today, and i was pretty impressed with the new D.
Either our defense is nasty, or we have a ways to go on offense.
gc, sorry
