Nope. It doesn't. It just sucks that kids don't think about their actions and the consequences. I was told Wednesday night that he wouldn't play. I figured something like what happened tonight was coming. I was just hoping that they could find a way to score some more points.
There was a Leb player that ran right into him. The Clintwood player was there too but there was definitely a Pioneer there that hit the returner.Quote:

Ha that's nothing what I saw. From where I was it looked like the Clintwood player was there trying to block him until he got around. Guess I need my eyes checked.
He was straight across from me. I can't remember who was blocking for him, but they were nowhere near him. After the ball basically bounced off his face the Clintwood player was thrown into him but nobody from Lebanon touched him until he was on the ground. I don't know if there were weird angles from those bleachers or something. From where I was the INT at the 1 looked like it was 3 yards out of bounds. Counts said from up top it was in bounds.
Maybe that's what I saw then. It all happened so quick.
I might agree with the weird angles. That INT was hard to see for me too but I figured he was out, just looking at the field. I thought there was no way he was in but I was wrong. Frustrating night.
Yeah, Lebanon didnt have a guy withing 5 yards of him. He just ran up to far under the ball and had to turn around to try and catch it. That plus a wet ball was disaster from the start. That wasn't the TO that hurt you though. When you WR let the ball bounce off his hands for an INT was the big one. That was an easy catch and if he had caught it he could still be running and it would have been 14-14.
Worst outting for the Wave this yr..We just had to many penalties and stupid mistakes..
and most of all work on our pass defense...everytime in the flats #21 was wide open, and I noticed we was playing an easy 10 yards off the receiver...all night long Leb didn't go for a long pass..
Guess the Wave will learn a lot from this game..
