    Bcs

    anyone care to take a stab at which conference has the most top 25 teams in the latest BCS standings?

    here's a hint...it's not the $EC

    I'll take a guess but I've not seen it, when ever Drew sees an opportunity no matter what to make some hollow point (like how great Tyrod is by throwing out passing efficiency #'s) it's more than likely the ACC. Am I right?

    Can't believe it, I was right. The ACC has 5 the SEC has 4 of course the SEC has the top 2. The ACC is the best football conference in America by far.

    Re: Bcs

    outside of the top 2 and prob LSU who in the $EC is even decent??

    Georgia??
    Auburn??
    Ole Miss??

    all those teams seem to be the same type of teams that would (if they were in the ACC) be seen as weak

    I'm not gonna argue that the ACC is a better football conference than the $EC, it's not...but to say that the $EC is on some different level than that of all other conferences is laughable, especially this year

    Re: Bcs

    The SEC is down this year in a year that they've had the top 2 teams in the country basically from start to finish. The ACC has had a team lose to Richmond. The PAC 10 might be the best top to bottom conference in the country this year. I haven't seen this recent thread on here claiming the top 12 teams in the country are from the SEC. Have you got a link? btw... Can you name 1 in the ACC that's "decent"?

    Re: Bcs

    Now lets look at composite rankings:

    SEC:
    Florida=1
    Alabama=2
    LSU=14
    Ole Miss-25

    AVG=10.5

    ACC:
    GT-7
    VT-14
    Miami-17
    Clemson-18
    UNC-24

    AVG=16

    Now lets look at head to head:

    Florida (SEC#1) vs. GT (ACC#1)=Florida
    Alabama (SEC#2) ALREADY BEAT VT (ACC#2)
    LSU (SEC#3) v. Miami (ACC#3)=remember the last time these teams played? LSU would rail Miami
    Ole Miss (SEC#4) v. Clemson (ACC#4)=I have zero doubts Ole Miss would dominate Clemson, do you?

    Clemson has a big OOC game this week with USC, if USC wins, what does that say about the ACC? That their #4 best team lost to the SEC's 7th or 8th best team?

    Hell, the lowly UT team that Drew's obsessed with gave them 10 x's the game VT did.

    Re: Bcs

    Another point, name ONE other conference that has TWO legit national title contenders.

    You cant.

    If the SEC isnt the best conference, what is?
    the ACC?? hahahaha
    the Pac-10 is the only conference that can claim anything close, yet their best team is a 2 loss Oregon team.

    Re: Bcs

    its an inferiority complex.

    the ACC has one legit team. If that team loses to UGA next week, what does that say about the ACC?
    I dont think they will, but its not impossible.

    the ACC will play 5 games against the SEC this year;
    Alabama defeated VT
    USC defeated NC State
    Florida will beat FSU.
    CLemson and USC will be a dogfight, its hard to say who will win.
    GT will beat UGA.

    So if Clemson loses, the ACC will be 1-4 against the SEC, they win, its still 2-3 with no wins over ranked SEC opponents.

    So, mr ACC, who is the better conference, the SEC with two title contenders, and would have 3 top ten teams if LSU had someone besides a retard for a coach, and the ACC, with no title contenders and one top ten team?

    Re: Bcs

    Let's just go ahead and finish this on out. BTW the SEC #5 thru #10 could be a number of teams

    Georgia (SEC #5) vs. UNC (ACC #5) = Let's give this one to UNC so they can have 1 win
    Kentucky (SEC #6) vs Boston College (ACC #6) = Kentucky
    Arkansas (SEC #7) vs. Florida State (ACC #7) = Arkansas
    Tennessee (SEC #8) vs. Duke (ACC #8) = Tennessee
    Auburn (SEC #9) vs. Wake Forest (ACC #9) = Auburn
    South Carolina (SEC #10) vs Virginia (ACC #10) = USCe
    Miss State (SEC #11) vs NC State (ACC #11) = Miss State
    Vanderbilt (SEC #12) vs Maryland (ACC #12) = Vanderbilt

    Am I too far off.... What do you all think????

    SEC 11, ACC 1

    And this is with a weak SEC
