not sure who else played, but Pound's boys defeated Hurley tonight 57-49.
PV waxed Hurley early in the year also. The LPD has performed pretty well out of conference, Appalachia is undefeated out of the league and PV only has one loss, and the Pound win tonight only helps.

Clintwood 53 Haysi 45 In Boys
Another big win for the LPD, Haysi is leading the BDD. A once might basketball district, the BDD is at the bottom of the region this year.

what is points standings for region in boys?
I posted what I had for D2 the other day. Clintwood would have to finish 3rd/3rd to get in the playoffs I think. Otherwise they'll have to win the LPD Tournament to get an automatic bid. Shame really, they are as good as some teams that will get in.

You think the 4th place LPD team can get in on the D2 side? I would think at this point the following are locks: PV, GC, JJK, and Virginia High. The BDD willl probably get two teams in, which puts us up to 6, Coeburn is going to get in as well pushing the teams to 7. That leaves Lebanon and Clintwood. I'd be surprised if Lebanon didn't make it in.
