    Opening Night of LPD Tournament

First time I've ever been to a basketball game and was snowed on (they opened up the vents and in came the snow).

Pound vs. Clintwood: Pound dominated, the score is very deceiving. Clintwood made a late run to get the game close but I never felt like they were going to win the game. Credit to Lowe from Pound for his ball handling and defense, he did a good job on Vanover. Also credit Chris Wilson and his staff. They have done a great job the last two weeks, won tonight to guarantee a regional bid and they had PV down with about 5 to go last week. PV/Pound will not be a blowout however Pound may be better off to lose this game to get in Hurley's bracket as opposed to Appalachia.

JJK vs. Burton: Another game, another deceiving score. Burton played tough but just could never get over the hump. JJK couldn't hit an outside shot to save their soul. If JJK was on, this game would've been really ugly. The Clark boys, Dylan and Aaron carried JJK offensively. Couch cleaned up the boards and got a dunk late in the contest. Burton will be solid in a few years, Miles is an athlete and Robinette played well also.

More than likely Hurley and Appy will be in the same bracket won't they? Castlewood is probably going in as the 1 seed.

I worded that poorly, I was referencing who Pound would play in round one.

I see. The boys tourney could have a few interesting matchups.

What's the schedule for tonight's games?
Progress always involves risk. You can't steal second base with your foot on first.

Vanover didn't play very well imo, of course if you have green colored glasses on it's different.

He's a good player but he's probably like 8th or 9th in the LPD. The five I listed before are better, so is Couch, Aaron Clark, and Tyler Vernon.
