Reds bullpen is awful, no other way to say it. I do have to question why Dusty pitched Rhodes down a run in the eighth but not up a run in the seventh. Overall, if the pen doesn't get better the Reds can forget this season.

Braves lose as Qualls tries to give it away. Braves and Reds both in trouble imo. Heyward is coming back to life and Chipper while hurt has been a shell of his former self. Can Troy Glaus and Scott Rolen continue to play like they did 5 years ago? If not, both teams are hurting.

I'll try anything to get the Reds back to playing good baseball. They have stole 2 of their last 3 wins. Here is tonight's actual lineup card.

Pretty big win for the Reds today to get a series split against the Giants. Reds are now 1.5 games up in the division heading to the weekend.

Atlanta starts their series with Tampa Bay today.
Tampa Bay Rays (40-23) @ Atlanta Braves (37-27)
David Price (9-2, 2.23 ERA) vs. Kenshin Kawakami (0-8, 4.48 ERA)
ATL lineup (with Chipper):
1-Martin Prado, 2B
2-Jason Heyward, RF
3-Chipper Jones, 3B
4-Brian McCann, C
5-Troy Glaus, 1B
6-Melky Cabrera, LF
7-Yunel Escobar, SS
8-Gregor Blanco, CF
9-Kenshin Kawakami, P
(the lineup could be totally different, I cannot find a set one for today. Chipper might not play, LF might be Hinske or Diaz, etc..)
If Chipper is out, Heyward will drop to #3 in the batting order and Escobar or Caberea might hit 2nd)
If ATL can take 2 outta 3 from Tampa Bay, it would show everyone that ATL is a legit contender. They face Price, but dont have to face Neimann or Garza.
TB is the best team in MLB IMO, their lineup gives pitchers nightmares.
Pitching probables for the rest of the series:
WED 6/16: Tommy Hanson (6-3, 3.69 ERA) vs. Wade Davis (5-6, 4.91 ERA)
THU 6/17: Tim Hudson (6-2, 2.43 ERA) vs. James Shields (5-5, 4.55 ERA)

I'll be at tomorrow's Cincy-L.A. Game. Hoping for another nice outing from Mike Leake. Heading out to enjoy the DMB concert.
How many games do you take in a year 7Teen?
You live around here, right?
Or do you live up there?
