    Ok now!! Clintwood/p.v.

What's up with the game this week. Any thoughts on what the outcome will be? What about key injuries? What does each team have to do to win?

There has been very little talk of any upcoming High School football games here this fall. I see more talk about MMA and UFC than I do about High School Football. I understand its an all sport board but where are all the LPD Football topics like we have had here in the past?

    Re: Ok now!! Clintwood/p.v.

Think it will be a good game (PV played Burton within a TD last week and was in position to win the game)

I THINK Cwood is the better team and could win big BUT if PV plays a smart game and trys to shorten the game then like last week they could put themself in a position to win the game in the 4th

BTW how is Miles I did not know that he went down in the PV game (looked like an ankle or knee)

PV is a little better than they were last season but Clintwood will just be too much to handle. Clintwood by 21+.

Yeah, Clintwood shouldn't have any problems.

PV is still one more year away from being pretty good again, depending upon the new coaching decision that is.

    Re: Ok now!! Clintwood/p.v.

As long as P.V.'s defensive backs stick to their assignments and Phil offers a more balance offensive attack than last week, this promises to be a huge game. I haven't seen Clintwood yet and am looking forward to seeing it. Some of the P.V. faithful were ready to lynch Phil last week. Actually, what he did, was expose Burton's weakness. He just waited too long to capitalize on it. Clintwood's offense has always been more balances than Burton's and therefore is harder to defend.

That BS of play calling at the end of the first half was not exposing any weakness except that of our coaching staff. I've always defended Robbins and he's a nice guy and has always been really good to me but he flat out lost that game for us.

As for Cwood... I don't believe we have the talent they do and won't be able to keep up with them Friday. Cwood by 17 or so. Their offense, i believe, is just too physical for our D.
