I was thinking it was 36-36 going into OT for some reason and that both teams had really poor defense up to that point, allowing one another to score over 30 points. I think on the radio they said 4th OT was 36-36, but I never heard what the score was before OT began. What was the score at the end of the 4th quarter, if anyone knows?
It was 7-6 TS till Ethan Collins returned a punt for a TD with 5 minutes to go in the game. We got the 2 pt and it was 14-7 till TS scored with 18 seconds left and tied it at 14. Both scored and got the 2 pt. in the 1st ot, in the third ot Coeburn missed failed the 2 pt. and then Courtney blocked TS kick. Coeburn stopped TS in the fourth ot and we tried a fieldgoal, regular kicker tore ACL last week and Courtney kicked it about 4' off the ground into the line. In the final ot Coeburn scored first and got the 2 pt. and stopped TS on their 2 pt. try on about the 1/2 yard line.
Thanks for that breakdown Beast, that definitely clarifies things. I misunderstood what they said BIG TIME.. I don't know how the hell I thought it was 36-36 going into OT. I must admit, I thought having 6 OT's with no score was quite strange if they'd scored that many points in 4 quarters versus one another. In my case, ignorance prevails. (Where is the head-banging-on-wall GIF when I need it?)
Courtney seems to be very good for Coeburn, is he a soph or a junior?
I know his dad.
