Don't believe everything you hear.
I just heard that the realignment for next year placed Lee High in the LPD. Also that Powell Valley and Appalachia were on the master schedules for next season. I guess that means that the consolidation isn't going to happen next year? Any answers out there guys?

According to the last SB meeting, both Appy and Pound were to be allowed to make schedules for the next 2 years because of the BOS's vote to fund the 2on 1 site, though, if the BOS rescinds the vote, then they will close at the end of this year.
I doubt it.

why?
Lee won't be in the LPD. Schools have all ready filled out there schedules for next year. Well most schools. I know Lee isn't on all LPD schools football schedules.
Central Warriors The start of a new ERA!!!!
Lee High will remain in the clinch mountain district. They were dropped by Middlesboro and Harlan Independant that is why they picked up Clintwood and J.I. Burton.
Guess what... doesn't matter.
Schools HAVE to play every school in their district to be eligible for the District title.
How many sports now ONLY let the District champ in the playoffs??
Schedule doesn't matter.
