k, so far the Lions are making some noise and the Bengals are looking like they might be ready to move on and let Palmer go win elsewhere. The Saints have two nice picks in the first round.
I wish my Steelers went for o-line or cb in the first round
You know this place is dead when the stinkin draft doesnt even have a thread.

Some notables, like Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers, who some said may be #1 overall two months ago, was not selected in the first round.
Some QBs have went in round 2 already, with Andy Dalton going to and the 49ers drafting Colin Kapernick.

My notes...
Newton is VY 2.0.
You don't like Smith?
The Titans show why they pick in the top 15 every year.
Ponder went earlier than everyone thought, but I like him as a qb and think Minn. might have got a good one.
Did you see Ingram get picked? Colber read something to him that his dad sent them and he started bawling. It was good to see. I don't mean that in a snide way, he seems like a good kid.
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"
I love him, he is my favorite Bama player ever. He doesnt hide who he is and is one of the best young men in CFB and now the NFL. He will never embarrass his team or his family, he is one of the highest character guys Ive ever seen. NO got a complete steal, he could be a starting RB in the NFL for 10 years and rush for 10,000 yards.
Its not that I dont like Smith, but drafting a player at a need position would have been better. I also HATE that Arizona stole P. Peterson at 5. I just knew he would be on the board for the Niners and it crushed me that ARI got him. I was livid.
Newtons QB camp with Gruden showed me a lot, the ****er cant even call a real play. the NFL is gonna swallow him whole.
Locker at 8 is LOLARIOUS, what a reach. Gabbert at 8 was a reach, but Locker at 8 is like a freaking fireladder.
Im a Ponder fan and know if he was on the board in round 2 for SF they would have taken him. If he is healthy he has the brain and mojo to be a successful QB.

Locker has a better chance of succeeding than Gabbert IMO. I wouldn't have picked Gabbert until the 5th round myself.

The Beast's favorite player, Owen Marecic from Stanford just went to the Browns.

Minnesota picking Ponder at #13 was a stretch. With Ryan Mallet available, I just do not understand it.
