Ah. I heard the stat on Mike and Mike this morning while getting ready for work. If it's been that long it's an irrelevant stat.

Both teams have progressed. But 3-0? lol If the Americans defend Marta well then they have a chance.

Good one on right now. England/France, second half of extra time knotted up 1-1 after France tied it up 88 minutes in.

120 minutes later and headed to penalty kicks. Gotta hope the underdog Brits pull the upset. Most thought France would handle the English with ease

Japan trying to shock the soccer world pushing defending world champ Germany into extra time on German soil. Japan's speed is offsetting the German's size

    Re: FIFA Women's World Cup

I was just about to post, WOW. This would be a pretty massive upset, two-time reigning World Cup champs being knocked out in the quarters AT home? Woah. Really wanted to see USA/Germany in the finals though.

They have gotten some GREAT looks too the past few minutes and have come up empty.

Will be very touching moment if Nippon wins considering what that nation has endured in the last few months

    Re: FIFA Women's World Cup

True, this was unbelievable, I don't think anyone seen this coming. Losing at home in the finals would have been a huge upset, but this early too? Ah, kudos to them. Really wanted England to pull the upset earlier, but fell short after that insane shootout. Really didn't think Japan had a chance, I mean they're a top 5 team, but I thought Germany would be getting their 3rd in a row at home.
