John Battle at Honaker-the flash in the pan that was Battle early in the season has crashed down to Earth. The Trojans will continue to slide Friday night as Honaker gets the W 35-14
Ervinton at Rye Cove-Warbirds handle outmanned gritty Rebs 28-13
Central Warriors at Eastside Spartans-this one should scare Central fans to death. A week after a huge win over Union,the letdown fear has to be a concern. The Warriors know they are playoff bound and the Spartans will be fighting for their playoff lives. So much to play for both teams: Central needs to enhance their playoff position while the Spartans have to win to get there. Not to mention huge bragging rights in the battle of the consolidateds (the right to be called the best in the county). If the Warriors show up with focus,the Spartans will have their hands full. Warriors will take this game 34-14

Gate City 28 Union 18...........Union is still trying to find the answers to their problems, Gate City is not the team to give them any
Lee High 42 Lebanon 34.......This would be a exciting game to watch, Graham comes alive late in the game allowing Lee to pull ahead
Rye Cove 28 Ervington 7.......The cove is a spooky place to play this time of year when the fog rolls in, The Rebels suffer another tough loss
Honaker 31 John Battle 24....Dont know much about these two teams just going with a gut feeling
Burton 63 Johnson Co. 13....I watched Johnson Co. play Central, this game could be 100 to nothing if Burton wanted it to be
Clintwood 41 Grundy 20...........After a slow start against some powerhouse teams Cwood is back and rolling
Castlewood 35 Twin Springs 18...Caslewood's offense keeps the Titan's guessing whats comming next, Devils win
Central wins they must not look over Eastside with Clintwood the following week
Union wins just because the kids will come together not because of coaching
Lee wins this one and with ease
Rye Cove wins because there just better
Honaker wins but don't count out Battle

Central- I don't think Central has much to worry about against East Side after seeing their performance at the Burton/EastSide game.
Gate City- Many of Union's players get cocky and don't try as hard as they should...then they start to lose and just then just go to giving up totally. Gatecity has this.
Burton- I really dread the almost 2 hour drive to watch this slaughter........
Clintwood - Many almost put CW out of the running in winning many games due to the not so hot first start of the season. They've definitely proven a lot especially after beating Union and putting the Raider's out of their undefeated status on Raiders's homecoming.
