Reasons to quit- the low is always lower than the high......dad can flat make a steel talk.... and walk and dance- for those who know what a steel is. NOLA, I think we both seek the "hardcore" stuff. George Jones is another good one " Rockin' Chair" and "Who's gonna fill their shoes?" are two of my favs. If the straight laced bunch that listened to so many of the songs that Willie wrote , knew who wrote them at that time, they would have died. And while we are on 'Outlaws do you ever listen to the one that did " Green Grass and High Tides?" Their lead sears.

    Re: Outlaws?

Ahhh, southern rock band The Outlaws had a few classic's. Henry Paul was in that band at one point in time before going solo then forming the country band BlackHawk.

The "Ghost Riders" cover was one of my favs. If you like the country outlaw style, try to get your hands on a copy of " Willie and Family Live" it's a live album done in the late 70's . Sorta different and it has a couple hymns on it, Paycheck sits in on a song or two. Good stuff, just sorta of a jam session.
