    Superman Returns 9.5/10

Great movie. Didn't try to reinvent the wheel just made the wheel a lot less bumpy ride. Probably a smart move to cast a generally unknown as Superman/Clark Kent because you don't think of him as anything but that. Enjoyed Kate Bosworth as Lois, she actually showed a lot more depth than I thought. It loses .5 because there was less Lex and less Lex/Superman interaction than I would have liked. A 2+ hour movie that didn't seem long, flowed very well.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

The Matador... 7/10... right when it gets good, it's over

The Libertine... if you are all about old European Sexuality and Theater...it's good.. if not..dont bother
8/10... just for johnny depp's performance

Saw Pirates 2 tonight (place oversold, and folks were on the floor). The movie was pretty much as expected. Pirates 3 should be interesting.

Might I add, as I usually do:
2 year olds are not suited for viewing a 2.5 hour late-night high-action movie. Take the screaming kids home.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

We got there 10 minutes after 7:00.

I was the one sitting behind the 7 foot tall 400 pound man.
