Welp it has been awhile since we have had a chance to be on here since we was having our Forum Aid concerts, and they went great. We had a big crowd every night, the crowds was so big and we loved playing down in dorchester that we played until Jan 6th instead of the 3rd. thats how great it was.

I was just going to let everyone on here know that the concerts went great and we look forward to playing here again sometime in the future.

Thanks to everyone that came out and rocked with us.

Willie and The Poorboys are going to return the favor and invite you guys to join us at a bangin' event that we are gonna be jammin at. Join us at the first annual Appalachian Whitetail Association Fundraiser/ Turkey Shoot (thanks for the invite hunter 316-not a suprise since you were banging your head to us and Glove's crew at Forum Aid). This event will be held on the grounds of Central Drive-in in Blackwood (they gave the promoters a deal being off-season and all). The folks at Central did ask me to warn/remind you all that anyone who accidentally shoots the movie screen during the turkey shoot will be required to pay for the damage(s). We are working on a new song that we may give a peek to you all titled "Jefferson Had A Slave, Why Can't I?" [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

95% of our material is inspired from this forum. Some of our biggest hits like "Whinin' Cryin' Bitchin'", "They Should Be AA", "Excuses, Excuses (the ref screwed us)". It's about you only if you want it to be.

First off let me say that forum aid was one the best concerts I have ever played at. The crowd was awesome. We saw Vtgal there showing off her mellons. I have to say those were some of the biggest, juiciest, firmest, watermellons I have seen or tasted. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Nola the DVD you are speaking of is still underworks. There is alot of behind the scene footage getting put on there, along with bios, and the history of the bands (wille and the poor boys included). It should hit the local bait and tackle shops about mid-feb.

Now for the Appalachian Whitetail Association Fundraiser/ Turkey Shoot concert. This concert should be about late march, early april. Thanks Hunter for making this happen. Willie and the poor boys will be headlining this concert, which will be a 2 day event. The first 50 poeple get free turkey calls and deer grunts.

Finally we (fgc) and Unchaineds band (willie and the poor boys) will be calaberating(sp) on some new music together. This will be a 2 disc set with rare live performance and studio demos. This cd should hit the bait and tackle shops and local double kwiks in mid-feb. So be on the look out for them. Also to celebrate this once in a lifetime offer.The first 50 cds will be autographed by both bands. Disc one signed by one banf and disc two signed by the other.
