You talking about the remake of the original Resident Evil or Resident Evil 4, which is the best of the series, in my opinion.

The remake of Resident Evil....i haven't played the fourth yet, but i've heard mixed reviews on it..
I would have to say, just in scare tactics wise, the first would have to be the best, RE3 was fun, but way too easy, RE2 is my third favorite, with second going to RE0, but as i said, havent played the newest yet

RE4 is the best out of them all. The remake of RE1 was also very good.

Agreed--RE4 is the only one that I've played all the way through to fruition--being able to beat it...but it was VERY challenging. The extra stuff you unlock after beating the regular storyline is fun too.

RE 4 is the best video game I have ever played period.
