Applebee's

About ppl becoming intoxicated........thats not going to change. On the weekends, applebees makes a killing on their bar....if you come over here to kingsport and eat at applebees late on friday or saturday night, everyone in there is drinking, same for the one in prestonsburg ky, or any other applebees ive been to.

An hour and a half wait for a table of 6 is a long time. I've only been to an Applebee's once where i had to wait (and yes it was a Friday night) and that was for less than 5 minutes.

Cheddar's is the best at getting people in and out. They always get you in faster than they tell you. Last weekend they were slammed - we had to park at the Mexican place next door and we still only waited for about 20 minutes.

I'd say the service will be faster at Applebee's once the servers and cooks have had time to get used to it.

I think once some mellow out here it will be ok.
We sure show our hillbilly roots at time. Took me and my date two hours to get a table.
It's alright but not up to what i have seen at other Applebe's.
Yet that may be the overwhelming crowds so far.
I think once folks settle down a bit it will be ok.

I always had to wait to be seated for dinner at Applebees.
Lunch was different, got in and out usually.

Same thing for Shakers, O'Charley's, Olive Garden, Outback, Ruby Tuesdays, etc.

I've never had to wait at a Ruby Tuesday's either and I go there way too much. That's one of those places we will go if everything else has a wait.
