I saw the trailer and it looks real good. If the theater audience was applauding, it has to be a must see. What did you think of it?

Re: Invincible

First you have to realize that I was in college in the time frame the movie is set, so the soundtrack blew me away from the very start - bringing back a flood of memories. The sandlot football games brought back some good memories as well. The movie is excellently done, from start to finish, with a very good cast. You won't see any big names in the cast, but you will see a lot of familiar faces, as whoever did the casting seemed to want to avoid a big name. I thought that was a smart move, because the story has to sell itself without the benefit of a big-draw movie star.
My wife is not a big football fan, but she really enjoyed it just the same. So that tells me it will win over a lot of doubters if they give it a chance.
Ticket prices hurt ($8.50 each in Daytona, ouch!!!), but I would have paid $10 to see it if I had known it was going to be that good.
I don't think any football fan will be disappointed, especially if you ever played the game, and had a dream....

What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

What you said ut1 i wish all these kids could have those memories and those dreams.
Some still do. But not like it use to be.
I talk to a lot of kids who never get into anything, at their schools, and then don't realize it till their out, what they missed, in the memories and friendship categories.
I wanted to see this movie the first time i seen the preview, i think what you said, makes me want to now see it even more.
